  4. Economy and Goverment (2011)North Korea is ruled by Kim Jong-un and their prime minister is Choe Yong-rim(2010). The one-man dictatorship has been going on for a long time. A more known dictator of North Korea is Kim Jong-il. The economy of North Korea is always affected by warfare between North and South Korea.

  10. History North Korea has been involved in many wars such as the famous Korean war. Also there was an episode of “Deadliest Warrior” were the U.S. Army Rangers fought the North Korean Special Operations Forces and they said this is a very possible scenario because North Korea could invade South Korea again and the U.S. could fight along South Korea.

  13. History: War Many wars have come upon Korea such as the Korean War. In 1950, North Korean troops invaded South Korea. This action triggered the Cold War struggle between communist and non-communist stations. The Korean war ended in 1953, however no side had actually won! In March 2010, the South Korean warship Cheonan was sunk in an area of the Yellow Sea that's in dispute with North Korea. Forty-six sailors were killed. South Korea suspected North Korea was responsible and ordered an international investigation so the results of the probe would be perceived as impartial. In May, investigators produced a piece of a torpedo propeller that they believed had a North Korea serial number. World Book Page: 368 and www.factmonster.com/

After the south concluded that the north was responsible they closed seaways, cut trades and even blasted propaganda through loud speakers at the border!
