The Cambridge International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) is provided by University of Cambridge International Examinations (CIE), the world’s largest provider of international qualifications for 14–19 year olds • Cambridge IGCSE is a high-profile qualification with an excellent reputation • It is recognized by universities and institutes of higher education around the world • It is equivalent in standard to the UK GCSE and Cambridge International GCE O Level examinations What is Cambridge IGCSE?

Learners develop knowledge, understanding and skills in: Subject content Applying knowledge and understanding to familiar and new situations Intellectual enquiry Flexibility and responsiveness to change Working and communicating in English Influencing outcomes Cultural awareness What do we gain?

The course differs for each subject, but throughout there will be a mix of assessment methods, including practical exercises, oral and listening tests, projects and written examinations Examinations are held in June and November each year with results issued in August and February respectively Subjects are graded A* through to G Grade A* is awarded for the highest level of achievement and grade G for the lowest What are Cambridge IGCSE courses and examinations like?   7. The students have a wide range of subjects to choose from. They can choose one subject from each of the following options OPTIONS

  9. This is a group award of Cambridge IGCSE and requires the study of the subjects drawn from the following 5 subject groups: Languages (Group 1) Humanities (Group 2) Sciences (Group 3) Mathematics (Group 4) Creative, Technical and Vocational (Group 5) Cambridge ICE Award
