Phase I • New single track tunnel • Platform, Concourse and Train Staging Improvements at PSNY (including pedestrian connection to Farley P.O.) • New Track Connections in NJ for direct service to Sports Complex • Equipment & Rail Support Facilities Phase II • Second single track tunnel • Major New platform and track capacity proximate to PSNY • Additional Equipment and Support Facilities

  7. Project Schedule: • Complete Draft EIS: mid-2005 • Complete Final EIS: mid-2006 • Begin Construction – Phase 1: late 2007 • Begin Operation – Phase 1: 2010-2012
