  3. - Provides a secure, home-like environment for Japanese and non-Japanese children who are victims of child abuse, neglect and other inhuman treatment - Founded in 1984 - Nonohana means wild flowers in Japanese: wish the children grow up to be strong and beautiful, able to overcome life’s challenges Nonohana no le children’s home

  4. - A separate group home for 6 children - Children come from Columbia, Kenya, Mexico, Philippines and Thailand. The majority are Japanese children - Accommodates 40 children aged 2 – 18, divided into 4 small group units Nonohana no le children’s home - Multi-cultural community: children learn the similarities and differences of other cultures

  5. - Protects Japanese and non-Japanese mother and children who have no place to go as a result of divorce, domestic violence or other reasons - Helps them to become independent - Mother-child living support - Staff: Director, mother and child counselor, juvenile counselor, nursery nurse, contract doctor Friendship Asia House Cosmos (FAH Cosmos) - Volunteers

  9. The family Center Viola was started in 2004. It was established under the Child Welfare Law in order to support children and Families in the level of Community. Strong belief that children growing up together will be more accepting of others regardless of race, nationality, gender and religion. Background
