  1. Certain things in life stick with us more then others do.... They were more memorable... More exciting.... Touched us in a way other events or experiences never did... And maybe even got us out of our chair and dancing a bit... We’d like to introduce you to:

  2. Lets meet the band... Lawrence Lalonde “Double L” Lead vocals, Guitar, Songwriter Steve “The Animal” Marsden Drums, Background vocals, Lighting, and Sound system

  3. A little about “Double L” Lawrence Lalonde (Double L) was born in Sudbury, Ontario and brought up by two Singer/ songwriter’s, Lawrence had ample exposure to country music through his parents, and developed a love for the music and the 6-string instrument. His dad, Armand, was an exceptional guitar player and was the motivation for Lawrence to pick up a guitar at age 11, and add music to his signing, which he started at age 4.

  4. Moving to London, Ontario in 2006, Lawrence auditioned for Canadian Idol, and later won the 2008 Top Male Vocalist award for Nashville’s New Country Star. Now living in Port Stanley, ON, the recent recognition of his music by fans, nationwide, had put Lawrence in the spotlight. Lawrence has made it his mission to continue writing songs and performing at country festivals and bars in order to share his passion for country music with all of his fans, in hopes that he can perform one day for thousands of music fans around the world!

  6. A little about Steve “The Animal” Steve began playing the drums in the late 1980’s and started with a funk band and worked around the band scene with Tony Springer, Pat Savage and the Phantoms. Steve was a very passionate musician and was known to be an “aggressive” drummer and after a fill-in gig one of the guys said "Hey, he reminds me of Animal from the Muppets" and so the nickname began.

  7. Steve continued to move into Classic Rock, and then into Country where he found his true passion. Steve met Lawrence when they performed together in a band called Hog Wild, and after discovering their similar love and passion for the same music. They branched off to promote the “Double L Show”.
