A Typical Day At Carnival • Morning sports session – 8am for 8.30am start • Meet for communal lunch at Pit Lane, approx 12.30pm • Shuttle buses between sport activities to lunch venue as well as to Tennis/Netball venue – MSAC – Pit Lane – David Mandie Pavilion • Kosher food and drinks will also be on sale • Afternoon sports session, pick up at 4.30pm • Home to freshen up • Evening social function Thanks to our sponsors

Carnival Information • Dates: 13 Jan 2015 – 20 Jan 2015 • Location: Melbourne • Age: for ages 11 years 9 months to 16 years • Costs : Early Bird Price below valid until 31 July – after 31/7 additional $50 added to all packages • Maccabi Member - $695 • Non Maccabi Member - $725 • Maccabi Member - $695 + Full Sports Uniform - $770 • Non Maccabi Member + Full Sports Uniform - $800 • Separate Uniform Components $25 shirt, $25 shorts • Cancellation policy: • Cancellations before 21 November incur admin fee of $60 • Cancellations after 21 November but before 19 December incur admin fee of $120 • Cancellations after 19 December will be assessed on a case by case basis. • No refund on uniforms • Registration open – NOW (www.macvic.com.au) • Registration close – when limit is reached Thanks to our sponsors

  8. Sports • Competitive (Comp) and Social (Soc) sport Choose sports from Group A, B & C. You may not choose more than one from each of these groups. Athletes will also have the opportunity to compete in a biathlon that will involve a swim then a run. This is an additional event. Uniforms • Shirts and Shorts same as Sydney 1013 and Perth 2014 uniform • Costs $25 per item (shirts /shorts) • Minimum 2 Tops and 1 shorts is required by each participant. • We provide caps • If you require a full new uniform or components of the uniform, please try on uniform sample sizes to fill in on Uniform Order Form either at Info Evening, or at Maccabi Office – please call first on 9563 5885. Please note that Uniform Sizes are NOT required on the Registration Form, so you CAN Register for Carnival before coming to the office for Uniform Tryon. • No refund, only exchanges. Security & Health SECURITY • Security provided by Volunteers as well as CSG as well as Private Security Patrols • ID Tags worn at all times HEALTH • Hatzolah • Declare any medical conditions • Hot weather policy – if 38 degrees or above at 1.30pm then sport called off. Kids can stay at Pit Lane in air-conditioned environment • Pit Lane is air-conditioned while waiting for pickups Group D Biathlon Thanks to our sponsors

Billeting • Arranged by Carnival management • You can arrange your own billet with a visiting family, simply advise us on the registration form • Only 1 pre-arranged billet per participant will be guaranteed • Priority list for billeting as advised by Billeting Officer • Include your request for friends when you register, but there are no guarantees. • Billeting Policy in relation to changes. Registration checklist • To register online you will need: • To set up a MyMacc account if you do not already have one • Medical information including your doctor’s/dentist’s contact details, Medicare and Health Insurance information • To choose your sports • Parental consent • Emergency contact details • Credit card if paying online • Once you start the registration process you need to complete it - you can’t save the form part way though • Visit the Maccabi Office if you need help with online registration or to pay personally Group D Biathlon Thanks to our sponsors

Code of Conduct • Must be read and agreed to by participants and parents by checking the box • All participants must comply with Code of Conduct • Billeting • Smoking, Alcohol and Illegal drugs Policy, new caffeine policy • Weapons • Personal violence and bullying / cyber bullying • Serious offenses will result in children being sent home at your expense • Code of Conduct can be located, read and printed from the Registration site.
