  2. The Visitors Center is just a small portion of what the Tourism Bureau does.

  3. National Advertising We market the county by taking out advertising in national magazines, in which we receive requests for the Pulaski County visitors’ guide. Group Travel Magazines We fulfill over 17,000 requests a year. Leisure Travel Magazines

  4. Visitors Guide We produce the Pulaski County Visitors Guide. All Pulaski County tourism related businesses receive a free listing. All Visitors Guide advertisers are also highlighted with links to their website on the Area Links page of the Pulaski County Tourism Bureau Website. The Visitors Guide is also downloadable from the VisitPulaskiCounty.org website.

  5. PCTB Website The Tourism Bureau maintains a website, which all the local hotels, attractions, shops and restaurants can be located.

  7. Group Tour Gift Certificate • Hotelier and Restaurants are given certificates to hand out to bus tour operators. The Operators come to the Visitors Center to redeem the Gift Certificate for a Group Tour Packet which highlights area attractions; museums and step on guides for Historic Route 66, they also receive a gift such as a hat or shirt.

Website Advertising Businesses may also purchase Enhanced Listing or Side Bar advertising FREE LISTING ON WEBSITE All tourism related businesses receive a free listing Package A: Side Bar Advertising Ad placement on two pages Package includes Enhanced Listing (Package B) 25 word business description, logo or photo, printable PDF and hyper-link, Package B: Enhanced Listing Enhance your free listing which includes 25 word business description, photo or logo, printable pdf and hyper-link

  9. Community Calendar This site also offers a community calendar in which you can look up events, community meetings and more. You may search by date, name, location and type of event. Event Organizers may also submit their vendor or participant applications to the Bureau and they will be made available for download. Users may also sign up for email alerts, designating keywords of specific interest. There is also a link to the surrounding area Calendar of Events for Rolla, St. James, Cuba, Houston and Lebanon.

  10. Advertising Panels Back-lit advertising signs are available within the center to advertise your business. Display your brochure along side your advertising panel

  11. Bureau Staff The Bureau staff attends several Tradeshows a year, marketing to outdoor enthusiasts, group travel planners, bank travel planners, military reunions and veterans. An advertising program is available to display brochures of your business at specific tradeshows

  12. Co-Op Marketing Program Monetary assistance with advertising of county wide events are supported through the Tourism Bureau Co-Op Marketing Program. To see if your organization is eligible please visit our Industry Partner Section of VisitPulaskiCounty.org where you will find the eligibility requirements, application and reimbursement request forms. All events must be pre-authorized to receive funding assistance.

  13. Guest Resource Book Guest Resource Books are located in our lodging partners lobbies. These Black 3-ring binder books are updated once a year with information on attractions, restaurants take out menu’s, float trips, shopping, day spas, golfing and more. This is a great resource for guests to refer to.
