    3. What is SafeLandUSA? SafeLandUSA is a volunteer organization comprised of major and independent operating companies, industry associations, and educators with the purpose of developing a standardized orientation which sets minimum requirements for the US Onshore E&P Industry. SafeLandUSA Mission To monitor and continuously improve orientation standards for the US Land Contractor Community.

    6. Why SafeLandUSA? Operators share a common contract workforce across the industry with similar requirements. Redundant information in similar but separate orientations waste valuable time and resources. Ensures that our workforce has received a high quality basic HSE orientation based upon common, likely industry hazards for US Onshore. Once completely rolled out, transferrable across the industry

    11. SafeLandUSA Advisory Group The SafeLandUSA Advisory Group (SLAG) is a volunteer organization, comprised of voting and advising members of the Upstream Oil & Gas Industry. The Advisory group acts as the oversight committee. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Syllabus development and content, accreditation requirements, quality control review, endorsement of accrediting organizations, and expansion within the industry.

    12. Accrediting Organizations SafeLandUSA utilizes a robust method of accrediting for safety orientation programs to ensure minimum requirements are satisfied. The Accrediting Organizations, endorsed by the SLUSA AG are responsible for ensuring that the Training Providers comply with the aforementioned requirements.

Training Providers Training Providers work under the endorsement of an Accrediting Organization.  Training Providers may include, but are not limited to: Contractors (In-house Programs) Service Companies Third Party Training Organizations Technical Schools Safety Councils Note: SafeLandUSA does not and will not govern pricing but does encourage free market competition.
