ALTERNATIVES STUDY • YTID MAIN CANAL REHABILITATION AND COWICHE CREEK WATER EXCHANGE • Conceptual design and evaluation of alternatives to increase the capacity of the main canal replacement or upgrade from 345 to 370 cfs. • Evaluate Design changes to YTID pipeline system and reservoir to deliver water to Cowiche Basin Users. • Preliminary Construction Costs for these options and determine the apparent best alternative.

  20. NEXT STEPS, OPTIONS AND PROJECTS • CONTINUE TO REFINE THE MAIN CANAL ALTERNATIVES DESIGN AND COSTS • CONTINUE TO DEVELOP COMPHREHENSIVE LOOK AT COWICHE CREEK SOUTH FORK AND MAIN STEM. • INCLUDE THE AHTANUM BASIN OPTION • INVOLVEMENT AND SUPPORT OF THE YAKIMA BASIN INTEGRATED PLAN
