Make it Fun, Better Yourself! • Make exercising FUN! • Staying physically active can help your overall character • Release stress, feel better • Build relationships • Brings people together • Gets you outdoors • Keeps kids and teenagers involved the right way • Sense of accomplishment • Helps senior citizens stay young!

Exercise Gives Purpose • Ways of exercising can vary • Get out and moving, involve yourself • Getting involved creates a social life • Within the community, school, workplace • Gives kids, teens, adults, and senior citizens a role • Team player • Group member • Exercise partner • Work towards goals and accomplishments

Exercise Relieves Stress • Deal with life’s frustrations by exercising • MuayThai, Cardio Kickboxing, Weight Training, Running, yoga • A means to release negative emotions • Makes one more capable to cope with current stress and life’s future stress • Less stress – happier person • Release stress hormones • Use exercise as therapy • Exercise in different types of places • Does not have to be in just a gym • Let stress be your motivation!

  7. Endorphins Affect Your Mood • Not only do you relieve stress but your mood improves too! • Exercise decreases stress hormones, releases endorphins • Also released are adrenaline, serotonin, and dopamine • Combination of “feel good chemicals” • “Runner’s High” Endorphins Cortisol

  8. Earlier the Better! • Get kids involved in being active as young as possible! • Outside playing, charity events, and playing sports (if kept fun)! • Physical activity stimulates learning • Increases their self-esteem • Creates friendships • Deters them from trouble

  9. Adolescents Benefit • Keeps students focused in school • Occupies them away from crime • Make a name for themselves • Builds their character • How to be a team player • Determination
