  1. Trustworthiness By John

  2. Trustworthy is an admirable character trait. Trustworthiness means being honest, reliable and responsible. Others respect you more when they can trust you.

  3. Trustworthiness at home is necessary for meaningful loving relationships. • Parents set rules to provide kids with guidelines. Parents teach their children right from wrong. As children get older their parents must trust they will behave well. A curfew is a time given to a child to be home by. If a child breaks their curfew the parents may not trust them as much. A loving home must have rules to guide children in the right direction.

  4. Trustworthiness is being loyal to our friends and neighbors everyday. • Loyalty is standing with and behind someone in need. Offering support to those around us shows we care and builds trust. For example, if someone were hurt and needed help we should offer a hand or assist them. People should treat others how they would want to be treated.

  5. Trustworthiness is being reliable and honest at school. • Doing homework and turning it in on time shows we are reliable. The teacher must trust their student is studying hard and doing their own work. Getting good grades and behaving appropriately at school is being reliable for oneself. A teacher trusts her students will not cheat or misbehave in class.
