He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing

  5. We can do NOTHING without Christ • Hebrews 10:4 • 4 For it is not possible that the blood of bulls and goats could take away sins. • 1 Peter 1:18-19 • 18 knowing that you were not redeemed with corruptible things, like silver or gold, from your aimless conduct received by tradition from your fathers, 19 but with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot.

  6. We can do NOTHING without Christ • 1 John 2:2 • 2 And He Himself is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the whole world. • John 14:6 • 6 Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.

  7. We can do NOTHING without Christ • 1 John 2:1 • 2 My little children, these things I write to you, so that you may not sin. And if anyone sins, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous. • 1 Timothy 1:1 • 1 Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ, by the commandment of God our Savior and the Lord Jesus Christ, our hope,

  8. We can do NOTHING without Christ • Luke 2:11 • 11 For there is born to you this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord. • 1 John 4:14 • 14 And we have seen and testify that the Father has sent the Son as Savior of the world.

  9. We can do NOTHING • Judges 5:23 • 23 ‘Curse Meroz,’ said the angel of the Lord,‘Curse its inhabitants bitterly,Because they did not come to the help of the Lord,To the help of the Lord against the mighty.’ • James 4:17 • 17 Therefore, to him who knows to do good and does not do it, to him it is sin.

  12. We can do NOTHING and be lost • 2 Thessalonians 1:7-9 • 7 and to give you who are troubled rest with us when the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven with His mighty angels, 8 in flaming fire taking vengeance on those who do not know God, and on those who do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. 9 These shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of His power, • Matthew 20:6 • 6 And about the eleventh hour he went out and found others standing idle, and said to them, ‘Why have you been standing here idle all day?’

  13. We can do NOTHING and be lost • Luke 13:7 • 7 Then he said to the keeper of his vineyard, ‘Look, for three years I have come seeking fruit on this fig tree and find none. Cut it down; why does it use up the ground?’ • Matthew 25:30 • 30 And cast the unprofitable servant into the outer darkness. There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.’

  14. We will carry NOTHING from this world • 1 Timothy 6:7 • 7 For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out. • 1 Timothy 6:9-10 • 9 But those who desire to be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and harmful lusts which drown men in destruction and perdition. 10 For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil, for which some have strayed from the faith in their greediness, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.

  15. We will carry NOTHING from this world • Matthew 16:26 • 26 For what profit is it to a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul?
