Planned Parenthood’s Mission Statement: Our vision of a world in which every child is wanted, loved, and treated fairly; access to health care is not only a right but a reality; a world in which women are in charge of their own destinies and seen as a solution to society’s challenges, not an obstacle.

  4. Planned Parenthood • Helping Women receive: • Healthcare • Cancer Screening • Disease Testing • Reproductive Care • Helping Women with low income • Prevention • STD’s • Pregnancy

  5. Budgeting • 31% from Health Services Revenue • 21% Private Contributions • 2% Other • 46% Government Health Services Grants

  6. It is said that Planned Parenthood refers pregnant women to resort to Abortion.

  7. Opposing Government • In direct support system of: • Sexual Activity • Abortion • Emotional state of women • Easily swayed • Budgeting • Money towards Abortion • Shutdown

  9. Mediate • Government should continue to fund for the purpose of women’s healthcare • NO FUND may go towards abortions. • Planned Parenthood should offer a range of options for dealing with unplanned pregnancy. • Provide Counseling to Women considering Abortions.

  10. In Conclusion • Women need healthcare • Government funds are essential for keeping this facility running • Pregnant women are emotional and need support • Abortion is a sensitive subject • Needs to time for decision • Planned Parenthood is a good institute, but needs to refrain from involvement with abortion.
