Inbound – Receiving • ASN Receiving • Inventory is cross checked with ASN and discrepancies are detected and corrected. • Barcode scan for greater efficiency and accuracy. • Non ASN Receiving • DCMS generates shipment information at the spot • Cartons ticket are printed if needed • Receipt information is uploaded to ERP after receiving

Inbound – Putaway DCMS supports multiple put-away methods. • Guided Put away - You can predetermine locations to locate inventory and system will guide locator to these locations. • Direct Put Away - Locate directly to active picking (forward pick ) locations. • Locate to a staging area- Locate to a staging area for quick cross dock. • Utilize empty locations- Simply locate to system suggested empty locations.

  12. Inbound – Quality Check Inventory is sent for quality check based on vendor profile. Perform rework on damaged cartons. Correct item data errors.

  16. Outbound - Import Orders Orders periodically downloaded to DCMS system from ERP or entered using flat file received from customer. DCMS Reports available to indicate status, quantity and value of orders. Vendors, Managers can use these reports to ensure that orders have been downloaded. Higher management can use these reports to ensure that warehouse is complying.

  17. Outbound - Pick and Pack Using DCMS Create Wave module select orders to ship. Make these orders available for picking. Allocate inventory to these orders and picking process is triggered. Guided picking process of DCMS guides pickers to exact locations using hand held mobile computer to pick inventory. Picker affixes UCC and CCL labels to the carton and drops them at the QC station or conveyor belt. QC is performed and then cartons are moved to dock.

  18. Outbound - Shipping • Shipping is the last process in DC operations. Cartons packed after order processing are shipped to the end customers. • Shipping manager creates a Bill of Lading and ships the order. • All required shipping documents like bill of lading, international invoice, packing slips are automatically printed by system. • Use guided pickup and truck loading to reduce the chances of sending wrong shipments.

  22. Outbound - Export information to ERP As orders are shipped, DCMS automatically uploads the shipping details to the host ERP. ERP processes this information for billing and accounting purposes.
