    2. What is an Internet Briefcase? An online storage space (alternative to floppy disk, zip disk, CD, DVD, jump drive, e-mail) Holds up to 30 MB of data free. That’s about twenty-one 1.44 MB floppy disks (additional space available for a fee) Any file type

Backup files Highly reliable (more reliable than alternatives) Fast (with good Internet connection, Word files take a couple seconds to upload and download) Cheap: Free with Internet access (most important to economically disadvantaged, those without computers at home) Can’t be lost like a floppy disk, CD, jump drive, etc. Organize files Create folders for each class Create folders within folders to organize assignments

    4. Why use an Internet briefcase? Access files Access briefcase from different computers (home, office, school) Upload files to briefcase to save from any online computer Download files from briefcase to access files from any online computer

    5. Who can access my briefcase? The options for your folders in your briefcase are as follows: 1. Private: only I have access to this folder and any folders within it. 2. Friends Only: only users designated by me can access this folder and any folders within it. 3. Public: everyone can access this folder and any folders within it (view and download). You cannot make just a single file public.
