Purpose Statement To the University of New Mexico at Albuquerque: My name is Korina Gallegos and I am truly interested in the University of New Mexico at Albuquerque because of the high standard nursing program. Helping people has always been something that I love to do. Becoming a nurse will assure me that I will be doing something that I have a passion for. Becoming a nurse has always been something that I’ve looked forward to. Attending UNM is what I want. I love the school and its environment. I will become more responsible and become independent. This program will also teach me that responsibility will be my main priority. Having to cut off the parties won’t be an issue. In order for me not getting behind in any of the classes I will ask for help whenever I need it. I will focus on school and become a successful nurse. Thank you for your time.   11. Mission Statement After getting my Bachelors from University of New Mexico at Albuquerque I will pursue a Masters in nursing. This has been a life long dream of mine. There will several obstacles in order to attend UNM, but I'm willing to face them. After graduating from UNM, I will return to El Paso and benefit my community by working at a hospital.
