  1. The dairy ofAnne Frank By: Kaitlyn Sybert

  2. How do you suppose many dealt with the internal conflict of being a refugee and deliberately breaking laws every day in order to survive? I think the Frank family handled going into hiding good. I think Anne's mother handled it the worst because she was freaking out and scared that someone was going to find them and kill them because its breaking the laws by hiding when you aren't aloud. Anne handled the situation okay. She wrote everything in her diary, all her thoughts, emotions, and a lot more. She got mad at some points because she thought the laws put against Jews where very unfair and I agree! People shouldn’t be punished because of their religion.

  3. Who from our story illustrates this internal conflict best and why? I think Anne illustrates the internal conflict best because she writes in her diary about all the struggles her, her family, and all the others that are living with her are going through. Anne also explains how hard it is to go through a life in hiding for 2 years, no leaving to go anywhere outside of their hiding spot, no going to the bathroom, unless it is a certain time, whispering all day until bedtime, and much more. Anne talks about how hard it is to go through all that and having to be a Jew and get even more privileges taken away from you, that’s the life Anne lived.

  4. Why is this portrayed differently in the forms of media we study? The picture book explains more about the background information and about the war that was going on when the Franks and the other family's went into hiding. It doesn’t really explain what all the family's feel about hiding. The video explains a lot about everyone's feelings because it shows their emotions. The novel explains about the hiding the best because the novel is basically Anne's diary and she writes all about what she went through and how hard it was for all of them. The play kind of explained it because you got to act it out and read about each individual person and what they feel about hiding and how they dealt with it. My opinion is that the novel is the best way to describe the Hiding.

  5. What does this difference change in the story? If the novel didn’t have as much information as it does it would probably be the picture book because the picture book doesn’t have that much detail it has more background information, and if the picture book had more detail it would be the novel because the novel has lots and lots of detail.
