  1. 2014 Service Personnel Retirees The following fifteen retirees were present at the Service Personnel Recognition and Retirement Award Program on Friday, May 9, 2014. This year’s service retirees represent 543 combined years of service to the university.

  2. Danny Adkins29 Years of Service Facilities Planning and Management Landscape Services Danny’s career at Ball State began in 1984 as a food service custodian in Johnson Dining. He retired on December 16, 2013.

  3. Sylvia L. Allgood24 Years of Service LaFollette Dining • Sylvia came to Ball State in 1989 as a food service worker. • She retired on January 28, 2014.

  4. Laura Ann Beasley29 Years of Service DeHority Hall Laura came to Ball State in 1984 as a fountain attendant in LaFollette Commons. She retired on November 1, 2013.

  5. Jerry L. Bennett30Years of Service Heat Plant Jerry’s career at Ball State began in the Heat Plant. He was recognized for 30 years of service.

  6. Gregory P. Drown24Years of Service Facilities Planning and Management Landscape Services Greg’s career at Ball State began in 1990 as a grounds group leader. He retired on June 1, 2013.

  7. Debbie J. Foreman16 Years of Service LaFollette Dining Debbie came to Ball State in 1996 as a food service worker. She retired on August 2, 2013.

  8. Orrin F. Franklin15 Years of Service Heat Plant Orrin’s career at Ball State began in 1998 as a heat plant operator. He retired on July 1, 2013.

  9. Dorothy J. Jackson36 Years of Service Central Mailing Dorothy came to Ball State in 1978 as a Cook I in LaFollette Dining. Her retirement date is July 1, 2014.

  10. David L. Kissick23 Years of Service Facilities Planning and Management Landscape Services David’s career at Ball State began in 1990 as a Food Service Custodian in LaFollette Dining. He retired on July 1, 2013.

  11. Larry J. Ledbetter33 Years of Service Facilities Planning and Management Landscape Services Larry came to Ball State in 1980 as a groundskeeper. He retired on May 1, 2013.

  12. Diana L. Moore23Years of Service Facilities Planning and Management Diana’s career at Ball State began in 1990 as a Food Service Worker in Johnson Dining. She retired on January 1, 2014.

  13. Cheryl D. Redwine 27Years of Service LaFollette Hall • Cheryl came to Ball State in 1986 as a fountain attendant in LaFollette Commons. • She retired on July 1, 2013.

  14. Leona S. Stewart 26Years of Service Student Center Tally Food Court • Leona came to Ball State in 1987 as a food service worker in Woodworth Dining. • She retired on July 1, 2013.

  15. Sharon K. Swingly 24Years of Service Noyer Dining • Sharon’s career at Ball State began in 1990 as a Food Service Worker in LaFollette Dining. • She retired on January 27, 2014.

  16. Arlene K. Weaver 38Years of Service Noyer Dining • Arlene’s career at Ball State began in 1975 as a Cook I in Noyer Dining. • She retired on May 1, 2013.
