  2. NEW RELEASE CYCLE PROCESS To better meet your needs, we have replaced our quarterly release cycle with a process called “agile development” which allows us to release enhancements as soon as they are developed and tested.

SPREADSHEET LINK: Enhancements to streamline your workflow • Export from Microsoft Excel to PowerPoint or Word and then manage your links and refresh the content from either Excel or the target application. • Leverage additional keyboard shortcuts (see slide 6 for the list) • Input multiple expressions into a TF function call. If you know the codes for your function calls, you can now input multiple ones without needing to select them individually from Data Item Lookup. Separate multiple expressions and function calls with semi-colons. Example: • If you send your Spreadsheet Link calls to a proxy server and you use the same user name and password for your proxy server as for your Windows login, synch the information for a seamless login by selecting “Use Windows credentials for proxy authentication “

SPREADSHEET LINK: Enhancements to streamline your workflow • When you send a request to a web server, the header is typically sent first and then the server responds with a "100 Continue“ indicating it is ready for the body of the request. If your proxy does not allow “100 Continue” functionality, select the Allow 'HTTP 100: continue' responses options and Spreadsheet Link can send the entire request at once. • Clear your selections in Identifier Lookup, Screen Builder, Constituent Lookup, Data Items, their categories, and parameters by clicking on the Clear Meta Data Cache button on the Options> Updates page • If you encounter an error, easily send your log file to our consulting team for review. SelectMail Logs from the bottom left of the Options page, click the arrow and click Mail information Log to open an e-mail with your log files attached. Or click Open Logs Folder to view the log files yourself. • Access Spreadsheet Link in Japanese:

  6. Spreadsheet Link Keyboard Shortcuts Select the Thomson Reuters menu (Exel 2003) or tab (Excel 2007 or 2010) before using these keyboard shortcuts.

  7. SPREADSHEET LINK: Enhanced Content • Add Thomson Reuters Business Classifications to your spreadsheets. These are now also included in the Quick List in Screen Builder and as a column in Identifier Lookup. • Access credit ratings from Fitch, Moody’s and S&P • Create custom M&A league tables that can be dynamically updated (this capability has also been added to Deal Analytics and is available only to Thomson ONE Corporate Development clients ) • Access M&A standard tables from the Template Library (available only to Thomson ONE Corporate Development clients)

  8. DEAL ANALYTICS For Thomson ONE Corporate Development Clients Only Tailor the league table to your needs and export a list of underlying deals for a specific advisor

  9. DEAL ANALYTICS For Thomson ONE Corporate Development Clients Only Export league tables to Excel and update them using Spreadsheet Link.

  10. DEAL ANALYTICS For Thomson ONE Corporate Development Clients Only Leverage dynamic links between Excel and PowerPoint or Word.

  11. NEW FORCAST MEASURES Access analyst estimates and actuals for the following new measures: • Free-Cash Flow Per Share (FCF) • Adjusted Funds from Operations (AFFO) • Reported Pre-Tax Profit • Reported Net Profit • Tangible Book Value per Share
