Technical Colleges are contacting customers who need to improve scores

Gwinnett has improved scores for 120 customers (45 to Gold)

Clarke has improved scores for 52 customers (6 to Gold)

Walton has improved scores for 67 customers (24 to Gold)

Additional manpower coming on line at Athens Tech paid by WRR grant

GOWD now offering basic computer skills training – with this, Eastern IC is encouraging skills gap training prior to WR assessment

Cwrc counties attained

CWRC Counties Attained

5 Counties certifies;

4 over 90%; Gwinnett nearing completion of private sector goals (271 left of 1420)

All certified counties have made 1/3 increase in recertification goals

Issues with Madison and Oglethorpe graduation rate data – all other met

Career Pathways

“Pathways to a Regulatory Career” program presented with RAPS on April 12 at Kennesaw State University

60% students, 40% unemployed or considering job change;

75% were more interested in regulatory career based on program.

Plan to repeat in Atlanta and Athens area in fall
