  2. What is collaboration? A systematic process in which we work together, interdependently, to analyze and impact professional practices in order to improve our individual and collective results. - DuFour, Eaker & DuFour

  3. What is a team? A number of persons associated with some joint action.

  4. Collaboration No one individual is ever able to develop the right vision, communicate it to large numbers of people, eliminate all obstacles, generate short-term wins, lead and manage dozens of change projects and anchor new approaches deep in an organization’s culture. A strong guiding coalition is always needed---one with a high level of trust and shared objectives that appeal to both head and heart. Building such a team is always an essential part of the early stages of any effort to restructure a set of strategies. - John Kotter
