Food And beverage manager • The Food & Beverage Manager (F&B Manager)is responsible for managing food and beverage operations in the hotel, restaurant, casino, events, and cruise. • F&B Managers oversee the operations of all the areas that serve the food and beverages. • In addition, F&B Managers deal with customer complaints and associate with the human resource responsibilities of hiring and firing workers.

  3. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Check the day-to-day operations and assignments of the food and beverage areas. Set up the goals or strategies for staff and enforce policies. • Recommend and advise the staff about the policies , alert them to report any serious issues to manager. • Make sure that all staff has the knowledge all about the tools and equipment. Use them according to their functions. • Test the quality of food by its temperature, flavor and aroma.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Find out and resolve problem or complaints regarding food quality, service, or accommodations. • Check food preparation methods, portion sizes, and presentation of food in order to ensure that food is well prepared and presented in a proper way. • Manage budgets and payroll records, and review financial transactions daily. • Schedule staff hours and assign duties.

Qualifications • Minimum of 2 years as Food and Beverage Management preferred. • Wine/beverage knowledge in an upscale environment preferred. • An associate’s or bachelor’s degree in hospitality management. • An at least 1 year certificate program which relates to food service and catering (optional). • An experience in food and beverage management industry. • Communication skills and detail-oriented. • A strong knowledge of basic accounting for keeping track of payroll and daily receipts.
