  15. During the Interview Cont’d Communicate quantifiable results e.g. lessons learned, and achievements Don’t expect the interviewer to read your resume Watch Your Body Language Discuss culture: Your place in the Big Picture Be Prepared for goals…”Where do you see yourself in ten years”

  16. During the Interview- Final Stretch • Ask Questions • Be a good listener • Most Important question is “Do you have any questions?” • Don’t come off as “What’s in it for Me?” • Turn Interview Around- Interview the Interviewer • Ask Pet Peeve Question

  17. After the Interview Thank them for their time Leave with a smile and a strong hand-shake: No matter what! Always send a thank you card May generate other leads- It’s a small world! Builds your Brand! Email Etiquette

  18. Once You Have the Job: Branding with Internal & External Clients • Everyone is a client • Every day is an interview for the position and a promotion • You never know with referrals • Gossip & Motivation • You never know who will be your boss • Or when you will be the boss
