  2. Purpose • Create multiplayer games • Operate online • Free to play • Adult target • Open source Image symbolizing Purpose (or something that sums up “We create and operate free to play multi-player online games, for an adult target, in an open source environment. “)

  3. Free to play Image that symbolizes social gaming (maybe something with a Facebook logo somewhere, investors will like it :D ) • Huge online market growth • Impact on the value chain • Consumer reach • Financial risk • Free to play • Large user base & social • Accessibility • Time consumption

  4. Adult target Image (possibly funny if tasteful : ) ) of a mum playing a computer game • New categories of players • New expectations • Connected to the real world • Blur frontiers & raise questions • New unexploited niches

  5. Open Source Image (possibly funny if tasteful : ) ) of a group of people building something together, or something that symbolizes free software (without the geek part) • Paradigm shift with communities • Involvement • Openness • Ownership • Open source • Acknowledge change • Retain core IP value

  6. Business model Image of a well-known brand that makes billions but where only a small portion of their users pay (need to find a good example – couldn’t get one on top of my mind) • Free to play games • Large base of players • 5% pay • Value based on brand • B2B : Serious games

  7. Current dev - HackIt • Concept • Adventure • Artificial intelligences • Hacking & impacting the real Web • Target audience • Sci-fi (I Robot, Matrix…) • Adult • Gender-neutral Screenshot of Hackit(a hack result)

  8. Market & Competition Screenshots of competitors (like the one David put below) • Markets : Social & MMO • Consumer reach • Social networks (Facebook) • Trend-setters & WOM • Ads & revenue sharing • PR & Events • Competitors • Traditional retail • Online free to play

  9. Team Directors David Blanchard – Operations and Production Xavier Antoviaque – Open Source & Community Contributors & contractors Deborah Moreira – Graphic design VladDragu – Development + 21 others

  10. Next steps Image that represent things like: saving money/avoiding to overspend, or a careful/controlled start before a very fast acceleration (sorry, I know it’s vague  ) Need to be serious here • HackIt! development • Alpha iterations (2-4 months) • Beta iterations (3-9 months) • Start small and limit risks • 180 K€ for the first year • Milestone after 6 months (70k€)
