  13. SIX MONTH STUDY (NINGXIA RED + ESSENTIAL OILS)

  14. Essential oils were diffused on one floor • Staff noted that respiratory infections started to decline dramatically

Resident #1: MD (90+ years old) PROBLEM Positive MRSA (Antibiotic resistant bacterial infection) Stage IV chronic leg ulcer INTERVENTION Diffused lemongrass in the room daily for infection control OUTCOME 10/09/07 wound healing reported 10/23/07 healing improved, wound decreased in size 12/3/07 wound completely healed.
