Moses • Named Moses ‘to draw from” • Egyptian royalty 2:5-10, Acts 7:21-22 • Mighty in deeds and words v.22 • For 40 yearsActs 7:23 • Visited his brethren Acts 7:24-25 • Understood his purpose to draw Israel from Egypt v.25 • He was rejectedthe next day and fled Acts 7:26-29, Ex. 2:14-15 • Ashepherdfor40 years Acts 7:30, Ex. 2:15-22

God Calls Moses • Sees the burning bush 3:1-3 • God calls Moses 3:4 • God tells him to remove his sandals (Holy Ground) and Who He is 3:5-6 • God tells him to go to Egypt to bring Israel out 3:7-10 • “Who am I?” 3:11 • “I will be with you” 3:12 • What if they ask who You are? 3:13 • Tell them ‘I AM THAT I AM’ 3:14-22

God Calls Moses • What if they don’t believe me? 4:1 • God gives him signs to prove He sent him 4:2-9 • “I am not eloquent” 4:10 • God promised to be with him 4:11-12 • Please send someone else 4:13 • Aaronwill be spokesman 4:14-17 • Prophet 7:1 chain of authority • Sure outcome promised 4:21-23, 3:18-22 • Aaron meets Moses, they go 4:27-31 • The people listen & worship v.31

Pharaoh • “Let My people go” 5:1 • I don’t know the Lord 5:2 • 3 days to worship God 5:3 • Made their work harder 5:4-19 • Israel angry with Moses and Aaron 5:20-21 • Moses cried out to God 5:22-23 • God’s answer 6:1-13, 28-7:6 • He would use Pharaoh’s stubbornness7:3-5 • Moses and Aaron obeyed; did signs 7:7-13 • Pharaoh hardened his heart v.13

Pharaoh • Water to blood 7:14-25 “duplicated” • Frogs 8:1-15 pliable till relief • Lice 8:16-19 couldn’t duplicate • Flies 8:20-27 Pharaoh’s compromise v.25, 28 • Livestock pestilence 9:1-7 Israel protected • Boils 9:8-12 magicians couldn’t even show up • Hail 9:13-35“I have sinned” but didn’t repent • Locusts 10:1-20compromises, regrets, etc. • Darkness 10:21-29 last compromise, threat • Death of firstborn 11:1-12:26 freedom & pay

Psalm 76:7 • Earthquake in Japan • Luke 14:31-33 parable of kings in conflict • Are you king of your life? Master of your fate? • Submit to God’s Messenger (Christ today) • Believein Him ConfessHimRomans 10:9-10 • Repent& be baptizedin His name for the remission of sinsActs 2:36-38
