  2. 12 years of supporting vulnerable young people and their families in partnership with LAs Referrals from Social Work, often as last resort Worked with over 3,000 young people across 18 LAs Primarily aged 8 to 17 (66% aged 12-15 at referral) Most subject to formal measures Background to Includem’s Experience There for young people 24/7

Mix of welfare and behaviour grounds for referral Most living with parent/s or other relative Most experience different placements, often multiple moves Level and complexity of need on a par with those who are accommodated Engrained resistance to meaningfully engage with services What we know about these young people There for young people 24/7

Early Intervention SIGN UP FOR OUR NEWSLETTER AT WWW.INCLUDEM.ORG • Inconsistency – some areas use us to help prevent family breakdown, but often referrals happen at point of crisis- Home Supervision Order is opportunity to reduce risk of crisis and better equip young people and families to cope There for young people 24/7

Working with families SIGN UP FOR OUR NEWSLETTER AT WWW.INCLUDEM.ORG -Parenting skills e.g. pro-social role modelling, setting and implementing boundaries, confidence building- Support to improve family relationships- Parental support needs (especially alcohol and drug use, and mental health issues) There for young people 24/7
