  9. Positions and slide numbers; • Auditor • Vice Auditor • Treasurer • Secretary • Logistics Officer • Speakers Convenor • Public Relations Office • Graphic Designer • Webmaster • OCM

Auditor The Job • Lead the society, think up new ideas and work effectively with others for successful events, product and services. • Work consistently hard throughout the year at networking, learning and promoting the BizSoc. Criteria • Excellent Communication, co-ordination, delegation and organisation skills. • Experience of Societies.

  11. Vice Auditor The Job • Help the Auditor with all the events and run specific events. • Take the Auditors place if he/she is unavailable Criteria • Attention to detail and good teamwork skills.

  12. Treasurer The Job • Look after all financial transactions in the society. • Submit monthly reports to the committee. • Work on new revenue streams, increase efficiency and cut costs. • Can be called upon to run events aswell. Criteria • Attention to detail, trustworthy, reliable, consistent hard worker.

  13. Secretary The Job • Take the minutes down at every meeting. • Responsible for Room booking. • Can be called upon to run events. Criteria • Reliable, good attendance at meetings, good organising skills.

  14. Logistics Officer The Job • Responsible for the National trips, International trips and any society business outside Galway. Criteria. • Good organising and negotiating skills with bus and hotel companies.

  15. Speakers Convenor The Job • Organise interesting speakers for BizSoc. Criteria • Excellent organisational and communication skills. • Having persistence and good ideas for topics.

  16. Public Relations Officer The Job • Put up posters around campus • Manage a PR team for effective Facebook, Twitter and Word of Mouth campaigns for events. • Work with the student and Galway media to promote BizSoc. Criteria • Excellent communication, enthuasiasm, persistence, creativity and interpersonal skills.

  17. 2 Graphic Designers The Job • Create posters for all the BizSoc events. • Format pictures and text for effective use. • Conceive logos and construct any clothing design. Criteria • Creativity, enthusiasm, reliability, any previous experience of Illustrator and Photoshop.

  18. Webmaster The Job • Run the BizSoc website • Integrate new technology such as LinkedIn, Twitter with Bizsoc. Criteria • Experience of website management or design. • Eye on technology trends and use in organisations.

  19. OCM Not sure what job you want? Join as an Ordinary Committee Member, come to the meetings and you’ll be assigned work in September on your interests and strengths after meeting the other Committee members. Example; work with the Business Review magazine, the PR team, the Business Conference, the Commerce Ball, taking photos or editing videos, running events, thinking up new ideas or integrating alumni and charities.
