  2. The Project • Started in May 2004 • 2 year duration • Funded by UNDP GEF/ Small Grants Programme & The Cropper Foundation • Project Team: from TCF and BAN V.C. • Advisory Group: pro bono services by TCF network of experts

  3. Rationale • Follow an approach by John Cropper to support communities establish livelihood activities that also improve or conserve the Northern Range • Encourage consideration of findings of Assessment in community decision making
