The dates which showed the time that was spent,between the time that they came and went THE DASH Memorial Day was over now, And I stood there all aloneI began to read the names and datesChiseled on every stone. It’s God who gives this precious lifeAnd God who takes away;But that line between He gives to usTo do with what we may. We know He’ll write the last date down,And soon, we know, for some.But upon the line between my datesI hope He’ll write “well done.” All at once it dawned on meHow important that little line.The dates placed there belonged to God,But that line is yours and mine. It was then I noticed something small, It was but a simple line:It was the dash between the dates placed there, A dash that stood for time.

  4. Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in • Christ Jesus. Philippians 3:13-14

  19. But I say to you that for every idle word men may speak, they will give account of it in the day of judgment. Matthew 12:36

  25. Moreover, brethren, I declare to you the gospel which I preached to you... that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures 1 Corinthians 15:1-4

  26. He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love, in whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins. Colossians 1:13-14

  27. For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes Romans 1:16
