  3. What Is Solar Power? Solar power is the Earth's most available energy source. It is capable of providing many times the total current energy demand. 2

  4. Do You Know About Solar Panels? A solar panel is a well designed thin board to store sunlight and turn it into energy. Hot countries don’t use solar panels to save money because they are too expensive for them to buy. 3

  5. The Sun The sun is at the centre of the solar system. It keeps us warm everyday. If there was no sun, we wouldn’t be living right now. It is 109 times bigger than the earth and is as hot as 5,505 °C (9,941 °F)!! 4

  6. Do We Need The Sun? Of course we need the sun! If the sun doesn’t exist, we will be frozen to death in a few seconds! No one has ever been on the sun because it is way too hot there. We could enjoy the sun at the beach and have a great time under the sun! 5
