  2. Ray Bradbury “You must stay drunk on writing so reality cannot destroy you.”

  3. William Wordsworth “Fill your paper with the breathings of your own heart.”

  4. Anton Chekov “Don't tell me the moon is shining; show me the glint of light on broken glass."

  5. Janet Jackson “I've never been one for keeping a journal, so my songs were my journals. They allowed me to express my feelings and let people know what was going on with me. I knew that somebody would relate.”

  6. Pharrell Williams “I love playing. The keyboard is my journal.”

  7. Ernest Hemingway “Write drunk; edit sober.”

  8. Anne Frank “The nicest part is being able to write down all my thoughts and feelings; otherwise, I might suffocate.”

  9. Charlotte Perkins Gilman “My diary is full of thankfulness for happiness, and prayers for deserving it.”

  10. Nicole Johnson “My journal is off limits to anyone but me ... I can't wrestle on paper if I fear what someone else might think of my wrestling.”

  11. Erikka Banks “Journaling is a way I can be honest with myself about my life and situations I happen to be in.”

  12. Conclusion Journaling seems to effect people in a positive way. I have not found any negativity towards journaling yet. Like I have said before, if you have yet to get a journal and be consistent with it, I highly recommend you to do so!
