  2. Background • A local furniture making company has been finding it hard to sell expensive furniture due to the down turn in the economy. As a result they have been looking into branching out into other smaller wooden artefacts. • The company has managed to arrange a deal with a local packaging company that can supply boxes at a very reduced price. • The box supplier can supply one size of box. 100x60x60 • They have suggested that they would be keen on manufacturing toy cars.

  3. Design Brief • Design a new toy car for a the local company that will fit into a box sized 100x60x60

  5. Task 1 • Sketch different ideas of toy cars and select the best based on the give design brief. • Sketch an orthographic view of the toy car containing all the sizes needed. • Sketch an isometric drawing of the toy car showing its final looks.
