  2. Overview • System that will help IT personnel manage tickets. • Any user submits ticket • IT employeeconfirms ticket • IT manager assigns ticket • IT employee submits completion • IT manager approves completion

  3. Overview • Roles: • User: general user that will submit tickets and review progress of own tickets. • IT employee: Can view list of tickets, own tickets, approve tickets, and request completion. Also inherits all of user’s permissions. • IT manager: Can assign tickets, approve completion, and inherits all of user’s and IT employee’s permissions. • Web admin: Responsible for creating and deleting users.

  4. Solution • Developed using PHP, MySQL, Javascript, and jQuery. • Why? Website creates a centralized location for all users to report to. No installation of software (except browser…)

  5. Prototype • Shows main pages of the project. • Does not take into account user roles so we will be able to see all pages despite the user role. • All pages are static.
