  1. Easter Sunday The Hopeand Our Salvation: The LORD Jesus Christ

  2. 1 Thessalonians 4:13-17 13But we do not want you to be uninformed, brothers, about those who are asleep, that you may not grieve as others do who have no hope. 14 For since we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so, through Jesus, God will bring with him those who have fallen asleep. 15 For this we declare to you by a word from the Lord, that we who are alive, who are left until the coming of the Lord, will not precede those who have fallen asleep. 16 For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a cry of command, with the voice of an archangel, and with the sound of the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. 17 Then we who are alive, who are left, will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we will always be with the Lord.

  3. Romans 3:23 “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God”

  4. Romans 6:23 “For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

  5. 1 Corinthians 15:3-8 For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received: that Christ died for our sins in accordance with the Scriptures, 4 that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day in accordance with the Scriptures, 5 and that he appeared to Cephas, then to the twelve. 6 Then he appeared to more than five hundred brothers at one time, most of whom are still alive, though some have fallen asleep. 7 Then he appeared to James, then to all the apostles. 8 Last of all, as to one untimely born, he appeared also to me.

  6. John 3:16-18 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him. 18 Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God.”

  7. Revelation 20:15 “And if anyone's name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire.”

  8. Revelation 20:10 (NKJV) 10The devil, who deceived them, was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone where the beast and the false prophet are. And they will be tormented day and night forever and ever”

  9. 2 Peter 3:9 “The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance”

  10. Isaiah 53:4-6 “Surely he has borne our grief's and carried our sorrows; yet we esteemed him stricken, smitten by God, and afflicted. But he was pierced for our transgressions; he was crushed for our iniquities; upon him was the chastisement that brought us peace, and with his wounds we are healed. All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned-every one- to his own way; and the LORD has laid on him the iniquity of us all”

  11. Believe and be Saved Paul told the Philippian Jailer to believe in the Lord Jesus and you will be saved. Acts 16:31 Romans 10:9, “If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” andbelieve in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will besaved.” John 3:16,“ For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son, that whoever should believe in him shall not perish but have everlasting life”

  12. Conclusion Christ died for our sins He was raised from the dead three days later We can be saved from eternal punishment, from perishing by belief in Christ. The fact that Christ rose again, gives us hope that we as believers shall rise again

  13. Do you have enteral life? If you answered yes, I have eternal life are you grateful, at what it cost God to give you eternal life? If you answered No, what is preventing you, believe on the Lord Jesus and you will be saved
