  8. PURPOSE AND SCOPE OF RFP 14-84 • The purpose of this RFP is to select a vendor(s) that can satisfy the State’s need for Medicaid Rate Setting and LTC Audit Services. It is the intent of the OMPP to contract with a vendor or vendors that provide specific experience and demonstrated success. • Medicaid Rate Setting • The Medicaid Rate Setting vendor shall provide the following: • General • Transition • Code Set Analytical Support • Long Term Care Rate Setting • Hospital Desk Review, Audit and Cost Report Maintenance • Determination of Disproportionate Share Hospital (DSH) and Medicaid Supplemental Payments • Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHC) and Rural Health Clinic (RHC) Rate-Setting • In-patient and Out-patient Rate Setting and Consulting • Physician, Dental, Other Practitioner, DME and Medical Supply Fee Maintenance and Consulting • Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facility Desk Reviews and Rate- Setting • Child Protective Services (CPS) Quarterly Settlements • Adjustment of Pharmacy Dispensing Fees (Compliance with IC 12-15-31.1) • Other FSSA Program Consulting Services • Optional Responsibilities (services only to be performed subject to a separate contract • amendment setting out the cost and specific timelines) gsdfgsdfg INDIANA DEPARTMENT OF ADMINISTRATION

PURPOSE AND SCOPE OF RFP 14-84 (cont.) • LTC Audit • The LTC Audit vendor shall provide the following: • General • Transition • Risk Assessment and Desk Review Process • Medicaid LTC AUP Contractor’s Responsibilities for Compliance Reviews and Enhanced Desk Reviews • Compliance Reviews of State Owned ICFs/IID • Minimum Data Set Audits • Note: The RFP will be scored separately for both Medicaid Rate Setting and LTC Audit services.   12. BUSINESS PROPOSAL • Company Financial Information (Section 2.3.3) • Confidential information must be kept separate from the proposal in both hard and soft copy. Vendors proposing both services need only to fill out one business proposal. INDIANA DEPARTMENT OF ADMINISTRATION

  19. INDIANA ECONOMIC IMPACT The State defines FTE as a measurement of an employee's productivity on a specific project or contract. A FTE of 1 would mean that there is one (1) worker fully engaged on a project; forty (40) hours a week, fifty-two (52) weeks a year. If there are two (2) employees each spending 1/2 of their working time, 20 hours per week, on a project that would also equal 1. $$$$$$ There are separate IEI forms for Rate Setting and LTC audit.
