  3. A Professional Learning Community • Through this Online Embedded Professional Development (OEPD) program a professional learning community has developed a collaborative team of individuals working together toward a shared educational vision, values, and goals.

  4. Population: Access to Algebra • 2006 - present • 17 Appalachian region secondary school mathematics teachers • Over 210 Appalachian region secondary school students

  17. Free Web Homework with Video Solution: Videos Prepared by UK Faculty and Pre-service math teachers through support from AMSP

  18. Formatted Math Feedback allows students to direct specific questions about homework problems to teacher and/or instructional assistants.

  19. System supports secure, formatted open response math exams with intuitive, ‘calculator syntax’ expressions This provides the capacity to economically and efficiently administer, “collect ” and return open response math exams with fully formatted responses

(asterisk, “*”, for none) Exam code: Student Level Parameters (controls whether exams can be restarted, multiple submissions are permitted, and reports are given immediately.)
