  3. Writing is an important part of communication. It is away to translate our thoughts to others . It involves many skills and strategies. Writing has many benefits: 1)It builds self-confidence. 2)It enhances creativity. 3)It expands vocabulary. Handwriting analysis, or graphology, is the science involved in producing a personality profile of the writer by examining the characteristics, traits and strokes of an individual's handwriting.

  4. How it works?? The brain guides the hand. Everything put on paper is a result of a two-way circuit between your brain and the motor reflex muscles of your hand." To you, it's just handwriting, but to a handwriting analyst, it paints a picture of the person "behind the pen.” Handwriting involves the students` control of their muscles ,the different ways of holding the pen ,and the improvement of the students` handwriting.

  5. Handwiting is important for many reasons: 1)It involves the concept of mental resources . 2)It is a basic tool used in many subjects (taking notes and doing classrooms` work and homework.). 3)Handwriting in the earliest grades is linked to basic reading and spelling achievement.

  6. English for Palestine teaches writing in stages (Grade 1) The students learn how to write the letters properly . Then they become able to combine them together to form words. Grade 3) ) The students learn how to form sentences from words .They become able to write correct sentences easily.

  7. (Grade 5) The students learn how to write full sentences about themselves ,after learning how to connect sentences with conjunctions and connectors. (Grade7) The students learn how to join sentences with conjunctions, relative pronouns, and sequence markers.

  8. Then they learn how to form correct paragraphs, and identify the topic sentences. Finally they learn how to organize paragraphs in texts such as letters. (Grade 12) At first, The students learn how to take notes and write a summary. Then they learn how to write reports , recommendations, letters ,and essays

  9. The existence of the examples before the questions is very important . They attract the students` attention and learn them how to answer the questions easily and correctly. These examples are sufficient because nearly every writing exercise has a model answer ,which give the students flashes about the correct answer.

  10. There are some difficult writing exercises in many grades .for example : In Grade (1): the students hate the exercise Trace & copy because it is very hard to put each letter in its appropriate place . In Grade (3) :the description of picture by writing complete sentences with their grammatical rules is very difficult because they forget these rules .for example , they forget that the pronoun (she \he) takes the form of present simple.

  11. In Grade (10): students face many difficulties in writing paragraphs such as describing the Palestinian climate . This difficulty derived from the lack of vocabulary , lack of ability to spell ,and the lack of the students` experiences .

  12. In Grade (12): Students face difficulties in writing job application because it needs many qualifications and educational skills.

  13. There is variety in English for Palestine which develops the students mental skills ,there is examples for this variety : In Grade “1” : Trace and copy , Read ,Find and write . In Grade “3” :Write and say ,Order ,Write in your copybook . In Grade “5” :Write and correctly ,Make sentences ,punctuate .

  14. In Grade “10”: Use these connectors to complete the paragraph ,Complete the diagram with brief notes . In Grade “12”: the writing exercises differ from unit to unit to improve their hand writing skills as Report on and recommend ,Write a letter to editor ,Write about your future ,Write a life story ,Write a descriptive essay .

  15. English for Palestine contains many uninteresting exercises such as : In Grade “1+3” :Write in your copybook ,Trace and copy . In Grade “10” :Write a formal letter because it is familiar to them . In Grade “12” :Report on and recommended vehicles because this exercise is closed to male more than female ,Write essay about the Aswan Dam that is not for Palestinian students .

  16. English for Palestine contains a little bit irrelevant writing exercises as: In Grade “5” :The whole unit is about Fairouz and its writing exercise is about something else . In Grade “12” :Most of the writing exercises are relevant to the theme of the unit except a unit is a bout money matters but its writing exercise is a bout writing a life story .
