  2. FACTS • Purebred Dog • Black/Grey and white, red coloring • About 30-60 pounds • Originally developed as an endurance sled dog • Love cold weather • Alert, eager to please, adaptable • Love to dig • Require very little food • Love to run • Difficult to train • Life span of 7-12 years

  3. Things To Consider • Require a lot of time, patience, and training • Need to have a fenced in yard or always be leashed • They will dig up flowers, grass, ect…. • Can be aggressive towards other animals (especially ones that are smaller) • Shed continually throughout the year

  4. What are some characteristics of Siberian Huskies? • They don’t require a leash and they love small animals. • They require patience, they love to run, and eat very little. • They eat a lot, are all white, and herd sheep. • They are not active and love warm weather.
