  4. Weaknesses • Businesses not obliged to preserve archives Necessary awareness-raising is lengthy and gaps in the archival law exist = important archives have been lost • Dispersed archival fonds • Archival fonds of minor value • Latent archival fonds

  5. Threats Worldwide economic crisis Decision centres of many businesses have been transferred abroad Domestic political crisis
