    6. 50gms of custard apple seed powder can be mixed with 1kg of any pulses such as soya bean, cowpea, redgram, pigeonpea etc, this mixture can be placed in the container in which grains are stored While storing rice and pulses in metal containers, addition of redchillies (2no),dried neem leaves and vitex leaves (handful) gives protection against storage pests. Use of neem wood storage boxes/bins prevent termite attack. Neem mulches act as deterrent to termites. Neem oil and castor oil can be sprayed at the concentration of 35 over termite nests. Latex from calotropis can be used for termite control. Black pepper, which is toxic to many insects, may also be used against termites
