  3. EMODnet Chemistry Parameters • Nutrients: • NH4 • NO2+NO3 • SiO4 • Ntot • Ptot • Oxygen • pH • Chlorophyll a Annual meeting, June 17-18 2014, Split, Croatia

  4. EMODnet Chemistry Parameters • Harmful substances • Heavy metals and PCBs (yellowcircles) • Radioactive caesium-137 (in water – redstars; in tissues of fish and Fucus – bluestars; in sediments – greenstars) Annual meeting, June 17-18 2014, Split, Croatia

  5. EMODnet Chemistry Parameters • Harmful substances • Heavy metals • Cu • Hg • Pb • Zn • PCBs • Radioactive caesium-137 • Petroleum hydrocarbons in water • Only in May1999 Annual meeting, June 17-18 2014, Split, Croatia

  6. Problems EMODnet Chemistry • Presenting integrated chlorophyll a data combined with data of nutrients. • Data of harmful substances are mostly in annual reports (Word files). • Many are lacking the date and coordinates. • Data without a date are not presented. • All data of harmful substances (except 2001) from zoobenthos. Already uploaded files: • How to handle the ASCII files in ODV import which have only min and max depth and station bottom depth variables? • Separate depth variable is missing. Annual meeting, June 17-18 2014, Split, Croatia
