  2. Metric Ruler • There are 2 types of metric rulers we are going to cover in this lesson: the centimeter (cm) ruler and the millimeter (mm) ruler. • Study the rulers on the next slide and note the differences between the two.

  4. Metric Ruler • The centimeter ruler increases in increments of one. • The millimeter ruler increases in increments of ten. • Other than that basic difference, the two rulers are identical. • 1 cm = 10 mm.
