  2. Fact: Newton's 1st law states that any object at rest , remains at rest and any object in motion maintains its velocity unless it experiences an unbalanced force. EX: A car going around a curve going a high speed will most defiantly crash due to Newton's laws. His laws has caused over hunderds and millions of car crashes.
  3. Seat Belts and Inertia:) Seat belts provide protection against Inertia Inertia~ inertia is tendency of an object to resist being moved or, if an opposing object is in motion, it can resist a change in speed or direction until a stronger outside force acts upon the object.
  4. Laws of motion In a moving vehicle you experience the effect as described in Newton's first law. As the car stops , your body continues moving at the speed at the car was going before you stopped therefore causing you to abruptly stop. Possibly damaging you with a airbag.
  5. Mass=Inertia First Law…inertiaSir Isaac Newton first presented his three laws of motion in the "Principia MathematicaPhilosophies Naturalis" in 1686. His first law states that every object will remain at rest or in uniform motion in a straight line unless compelled to change its state by the action of an external force. This is normally taken as the definition of inertia. The key point here is that if there is no net force acting on an object (if all the external forces cancel each other out) then the object will maintain a constant velocity. If that velocity is zero, then the object remains at rest. And if an additional external force is applied, the velocity will change because of the force.
