Project History • In a response to market demand, Innovative Management Solutions Inc. developed this course in co-operation with the Canada Safety Council • It meets the needs of organizations that want to have safer drivers • It also meets the needs of organizations that want to have more environmentally responsible drivers • Everybody wins!!

What is e-Learning? • It is… • the latest training industry buzzword • a philosophy of adult education that recognizes that all forms of learning have a part in a modern organization • the use of computers and connectivity to maximum benefit, while still providing for human interaction • not just CD ROM or computer based training (CBT)

Advantages of e-Learning • There are many reasons to go online: • Self-Paced Instruction – students proceed at their own pace, but everyone is tested the same way • Access – e-Learning is accessible 24/7 via the Internet • User Tracking – students see their progress as all information is tracked • Reduced Costs – it costs less than classroom training regardless of student location • Review and Reinforcement – an excellent resource tool after completion
