  3. Customize Slide Masters • When creating a presentation, you can apply a design theme to the presentation to provide colors and formatting. • If you make changes to a slide and want the changes to affect all slides in the presentation, make the changes in a slide master.

Save a Presentation as a Template • If you create custom formatting in a presentation that you would like to use for future presentations, consider saving the presentation as a template. • The advantage to saving your presentation as a template is that you cannot accidentally overwrite the presentation.

  32. Insert Action Buttons • Action buttons are drawn objects on a slide. The buttons have a routine attached to them thatis activated when the viewer or the speaker clicks the button. • For example, you could include an action button that, when clicked, displays the next slide in the presentation, a file in another program, or a specific web page. • When the viewer or speaker moves the mouse over an action button during a presentation, the pointer changes to a hand with a finger pointing upward to indicate that clicking will result in an action.
