(Standards, technologies, products) • There are many different XML based initiatives for enabling business communication. Amongst the more well known we find BizTalk, CBL, cXML and OBI (which is soon to implement XML in its model). Which – if any – of these and other initiatives do you see • Leading within the next 12 months? (Multiple answers allowed!) • Disappearing within the next 12 months? (Multiple answers allowed!) • Integrated within the next 12 months? (Multiple answers allowed!) • Which three actors do you see as the most important in the development of XML in the future? In what areas?

[1999-05-24] Microsoft och CommerceOne går ut i en pressrelease och informerar om sitt samarbete. [1999-05-24] Första BizTalkramverket släpps v 0.81 [1999-05-25] xml.org – OASIS webbportal för XML-information öppnar.. [1999-07] OASIS tillkännager att Microsoft blivit medlemmar [1999-07-27] CBL 2.0 släpps [1999-08-16] cXML 1.0 släpps [1999-10-12] eCO släpps i en öppen version.
