Robert Charles Viscardi • Major: Kinesiology • Minor: Leadership Studies • Hobbies: Exercise, any form of outdoor physical activity (i.e., ultimate frisbee, basketball, soccer, mountain/road biking, snowboarding, etc.), playing or making music on the guitar/drums/saxophone, billiards, boating & fishing, laughing, cooking and sleeping. • New York sports advocate (Yankees, Jets, Knicks, Rangers) & Arsenal Gunners fan

What is Exercise Prescription? • The process of designing a regimen of physical activity in a systematic and individualized manner • No single prescription is the same for two people • There is no “one size fits all” • To facilitate positive changes in a client’s personal physical activity habits • Five essential components: • Frequency, Intensity, Time, Type, Progression

What is Leadership Prescription? • There is no single ‘prescription’ on how to lead or why one leads… • Each individual leader contrives their own formula • Leaders portray characteristic traits and behavioral styles • Trait Theory Paradigm • Big Five Model of Personality • Behavioral Leadership Theory Paradigm • F.I.T.T. Application towards Leadership
