  3. Definition- Useless, unimportant, or not successful. Sentence- The cat was so futile that he let mice walk all over him. How to remember- Think of futile like being a tile on the floor that you can walk on. Just like how the mice are walking on the cat because he's useless. Futile

  4. Definition- Self-respect for yourself. Sentence- Brett Favre has a lot of dignity after he's NFL career. How to remember- Remember dignity by thinking your digging yourself like in the beginning of dignity. Dignity

  5. Definition- Useless; unproductive; without results or success. Sentence- The corn was fruitless that year during harvest. How to remember- Think when you hear less in fruitless think of the end of useless, less. Fruitless

  6. Definition- Confinement, or to restrict someone from leaving some where. Sentence- The kids were in an interment camp in Idaho. Internment

  16. Definition- Being drowsy or sleepy. Sentence- You will be lethargy if you stay up all night. Lethargy

  17. Definition- To agree too. Sentence- The two men assented to the subject. Assented

  18. Definition- To give up resistance. Sentence- The women capitulated when the cops tackled her. Capitulate

  19. Definition- Aggressive or self assured. Sentence- The boy was assertive when he told the bully he would not give him his lunch money. Assertive

  20. Definition- real, legit, or genuine. Sentence- The store had authentic diamonds for sale. Authentic
