  10. Your goal should be a specific ACTION SPECIFIC • It should not be a vague intention to achieve something. Like • I am going to do better sales. • I am going to work smarter. • It should answer WHAT are you going to do. • I am going to increase my FPI • I am going to automate my Customer Data for better servicing

Your goal should be objectively measureable MEASURABLE • If you can’t measure it, you can’t manage it. • Increase FPI by how much? • Automate how much of your customer data • If you can measure your goal’s progress, you will be able to see the change and that will keep you motivated. • I am going to increase my FPI by 30% • I am going to automate data all past data of 10 customers

Your goals should be challenging but Achievable ACHIEVABLE • Goals that are too far out of reach will not motivate you • 10 Times higher FPI than last year to become no 1 agent of the zone. • Automate all customer data through a software, website and mobile to become the best service provider in town. • However goal should be slightly stretched for better performance. • 50% more FPI than last year • Launch a website and automate atleast half of customer data

Something for which you have experience & Resource REALISTIC • If you aim for the moon and you might get nothing. • Create a website which will attract new leads that will increase my FPI by 50% over last year. • You should set the bar high enough for a satisfying performance • Create a website which will start generating leads and add 5% to my total FPI.

Your goals should be time bound to be achieved within a specific time period TIME BOUND • Without a time limit their would be no urgency to take action • Create a website which will start generating leads and add 5% to my total FPI • Commitment to deadlines ensures that the work gets started. • Create a website within a month which will start generating leads and add 5% to my total FPI this year.

  16. Consider the obstacles • Identify the resources needed • Make a written plan • Review your plan periodically • Be flexible to change it
